Local Irritation: Helpful to clarify exactly what she is eating. Does this happen with every solid or only a specific solid food? She could be experiencing a local irritation or allergic reaction to the solids. If she has lip or tongue swelling, difficulty breathing she needs immediate medical attention. Discuss your concerns with your health care provider.

Not unusual: Sensitive skin in babies often will get red around the mouth after eating. See if you can figure out which food(s) are the most irritating and avoid them. If there is swelling of the lips or tongue or face then call your doctor right away. A barrier cream such as aquaphor may help.
