Sensitive SNS: The sympathetic nervous system releases catecholamines which can increase the heart rate. If the rate returns to low a few minutes after exercise that is not a problem. Exercise that increases hr above 120 for an hour actually decreases cardiac out put and is not healthy. Are there no symptoms when hr is so fast.? Have you had an ekg when hr is so high?
