Couldn't hurt: Losing control of your bladder or any structure in the pelvis in any way might be "just" an accident, but could also be a sign of a more significant neurologic problem. Why not let a physician make that decision for you? Especially if you already have a pre-existing neurologic problem like sciatica? Call the doctor.

Yes!: If you have incontinence in setting of sciatica, you should seek urgent medical evaluation as this may be a sign of cord compression, which requires emergency intervention.

Yes See Doctor: Some of the nerves exiting the spine will go to the urinary tract and can control some functions of the tract. Sometimes when these nerves are injured you may have trouble urinating or even have accidents because you cannot control the stream.
