Yes: Cervical spinal stenosis can certainly have associated upper back pain. See a pain specialist. Injections in the spine plus medications (including muscle relaxers) may help you.

Possibly: Upper back pain can be muscular, can be neck related, can be cervical spine related, or could even be from an internal issue (lung, etc). Try topical heat treatment, massage, hot shower, ben-gay and if not better, see your doctor.
