Yes: Nerve damage in the back/spinal cord can result from any nerve damage to spinal column.

Maybe: Sometimes issues with the back can cause burning in the feet. It can be a result of scarring from surgery, but some longstanding back issues can cause permanent nerve issues even after surgery is performed. Discuss this with a doctor. Other reasons for this type of pain include medical problems such as diabetes, inflammatory arthritis, thyroid issues, raynaud's and other issues.
