Hang in there: Gout can be a very painful condition to suffer with. As the gout attach subsides, so do the redness, swelling and pain. In the meantime take it easy and rest the foot where possible. Avoid tight fitting shoes. Take any prescribed medications, and talk to your doctor about options for pain relief. Hope you feel better soon!
