If someone has throat cancer that pushes on there vocal chords, once the cancer is home will their vocal chords heal back to normal? or will that permenently affect their vocal chords?

Depends: If it is "pushing" on the vocal cores, there is a good chance that function should return. If it involves the nerves or is invading the cords, it may not. Also the treatment- surgery or radiation, may eradicate the tumor but damage the chord in the same spot.
