Papilloma: Certainly, your concern is valid and he should be evaluated by and ENT doctor with full exam and fiberoptic laryngoscopy. However, the "polyps" you mention, may be papilloma which are usually benign, but can involve the larynx extensively in some cases. This can be treated but sometimes can be a stubborn problem. Definitely, a biopsy is needed.
