A member asked:

Can the nurse read the reading on a spyrometry test or must that come from a doctor or pulgometrist?

Many options: Anyone trained to do spirometry can read the results, and often the machine itself prints out an interpretation. However i would strongly recommend that a full interpretation must be done in the context of you and your symptoms by someone managing your care. That could be an advance practice nurse, a family physician/internist or pulmonologist.
