Im 29, women, no smoker, healthy. got sick 4 times this year and one was the flu. now doctors are checking to see if i have copd of something alike.. my levels in spirometry are low, fev1/fec is the only high number i think.. so nervous..

Smoking history: If you are or have smoked, the likelihood of COPD increases, but with a normal ratio it is less likely. If you have low volumes, then restrictive disease, scarring of the lung following repeated infections is one possible causes. A chest image is suggested and a pre and post bronchodilator challenge, if it has not already been completed. Full report may be reviewed on HT virtual consultation
