Usually yes: After root canal surgery, you should be able to return to work quickly. However, this will also depend on the type of anesthesia used. Consult with your oral surgeon or dentist.

Many cases yes: It depends on the situation and of course your pain tolerance. Many times I have patients fall asleep during root canals and they feel fine later as well. Sometimes it is very tender later too. You will not likely hurt anything by going back, just have some pain. Ask your provider what they think.

Yes, definitely: Yes, definitely. A root canal is a very painless procedure for the patient. After the root canal is complete, the only thing you should feel is some numbness for a few hours.

Sure...: You can go back to work just like having general dental work done. The only real hard part would be if you need to speak...And you are numb it may be a little difficult or if you need to eat that might be a little hard to do also. But yes, by all means you can indeed go back to work a huge majority of the time. Most all endodontists are very good at what they do and make it a good experience.

Yes: Why not? You will be numb for a few hours during which you cannot have any pain, so go to work! earn the money to pay for the root canal. In new york we have connections/plans to save money on such procedures.
