It Depends: On if there is an infection present, if you need to be prophylactically premedicated, etc. If its a scheduled (non emergency procedure on an individual with no medical conditions requiring pre-medication) then typically not. Certainly scripts will be given for antibiotics and analgesics by the dentist or oral surgeon.

No: No. In general, in non-infected wisdom teeth, antibiotics have not shown to be of value. There are exceptions. Your best option with wisdom teeth is to seek the services of a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
