How can i brush teeth after mucocele surgery?

Yes: You should continue brushing and flossing your teeth daily. But try to avoid the surgical site. Keeping your teeth and gums clean helps facilitate healing. You can also rinse with warm salt water.

Carefully: There is no reason you should not be brushing your teeth after this soft tissue surgery. Just be gentle around the surgical site. There is likely a stitch or two where the mucocele was removed. The soft tissue should be closed and healing within days. Using a soft children s tooth brush may be easier till the wound area heals.
