What is the difference between a pelvic exenteration and a pelvic exoneration?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pelvic exenteration: There is no such thing as a pelvic "exoneration" although some people mispronounce "exenteration" to make it sound similar. A pelvic exenteration is the removal of most or all pelvic structures (bladder, uterus, rectum) for cancer (usually recurrent) in the pelvic organs (most often cervical cancer).
