Endometrial biopsy: Endometrial biopsy is performed for abnormal uterine bleeding in anyone over 40-45. If younger than an endometrial biopsy is performed for persistent abnormal uterine bleeding or any abnormal uterine bleeding in the face of risk factors such as obesity or family history. If not menopausal than a pregnancy test should be performed first.
