Be patient.: Pending just means that there is no final answer. When the result has been read, your doctor will be informed. I recommend communicating with your doctor's office in regards to the result instead of calling the lab. If there seems to be a delay in getting the result, the doctor's office can call the lab to see what is causing the delay.
