You should call: Your doctor. It is possible that you have a neuritis from irritation by blood. However, the fever is concerning. It could be a sign of something serious, like meningitis.

ER: I do not know what time frame is but you should go to the ER and be evaluated. Your back plus a thorough neurological exam should be done, along with blood work.
