Could be carriers: Carriers have one normal paired with one carrier (altered) gene.During the formation, there is 50% chance that either will make it into the egg.When paired with your normal gene at conception you have those two possibilities.So with every pregnancy , you have equal risk of producing a carrier child or one with normal genes.
