A clot must be: In the differential diagnosis based on the location of discomfort. Hopefully, you are correct and it is a cramp of some sort, but a clot may have to be ruled out if the discomfort is continuous.

Minerals and water : Cramps can be due to mineral and electrolyte imbalance. Consider magnesium supplementation and drinking more water. Also gentle exercise.
