YES: Serotonin syndrome is a medical emergency if you have symptoms. There are many medications that increase serotonin in your body, but there is no hard and fast rule on how many and how much is too much. This is why we advise pts of the symptoms so we can stop some medications if needed.

If you have it, yes: Serotonin syndrome can be life-threatening. It can happen when you take two drugs that increase the body's level of serotonin, together at the same time. Symptoms include agitation/restlessness; nausea, vomiting, & diarrhea; fast heartbeat; high BP and temperature; hallucinations; sweating, shivering, and tremor; uncoordination; and hyperactive reflexes. Ask your doctor about your own meds.
