Unlikely: Ssi or disability claims could be made, but you'd have to show that all treatment options have been exhausted and you are unable to work. Extensive evaluations come before this. Most people that i know with bipolar disorder are able to work & support themselves. If your own disorder is not being effectively treated, please discuss this with your psychiatrist so that adjustments can be made.
