My husband has cancer in his liver. his bilirubin is 28 . he has already had lots of chemo. what's his chances of survival ? please answer?

Plz Ask His Doctor: A bilirubin of 28 usually indicates liver failure, which is a very serious finding; however, we have no way of knowing what type of cancer your husband has or his response to rx. I advise you to pose this question to your husband's oncologist.

Not very good: Just bilirubin value is not enough to evaluate, prognosis localized tumor with liver transplant is pretty good or with out 5 yr survival 20 % with regional met 10% and distant met 5% sorry , it is unconquerable disease.
