No: Vitamin e is not a mood stabilizer, but is sometimes tried when medications like Haldol (haloperidol) cause movement disorders. If using natural vitamin E with tocopherols & trienols, it's a safe, effective antioxidant. Please ask your own doctor about his/her purpose in recommending the vitamin E for you. There are also other antipsychotic agents if you need one, and mood stabilizers too.

No: If you are asking about vitamine e then no it is not a mood stabilizer if you are asking about haloperidol it has both anti manic and antipsychotic properties. Depending on how it's defined, haloperidol may not be considered a mood stabilizer.
