Membrane: It should be safe however check with your obgyn to be sure as they are made of bovine (cow) collagen mostly. The alternative is to use a teflon barrier (i use them all the time) as they can be used when we can close the tissue totallly (primary closure) and also if that is not possible. They are typically removed in six weeks;like taking a band aid off. Good luck on the pregnancy;ask your surgeon.

Extractions, Bone: I would do the extraction, and the bone augmentation prior to getting pregnant. Collagen membrane are harvested either from swine(pegs) or bovine .No contraindiactions of using the membrane. Just not wise to do any extensive dental treatment during the first trimester, .

Yes: They are resorbed by your body. How long that takes depends on which membrane is used. The surgeon can tell you.
