Slow down: You have bprobably been too aggressive in application and/or too sensitive to the product. The retinoids may require time to build up tolerance. I would start with a lower strength and apply every other or every third night in small amounts used at night with moisturizers during the day and avoidance of sun exposure. Slowly build up the potency and frequency until your skin is tolerant.

Expected : Your concentration of tretinoin cream is the highest available. The burning, redness and peeling is dose related. That means the higher the dose (concentration) the more the side effects. Ask your doctor for a lower concentration. You may be able to tolerate that better. (0.1% = highest. 0.01% lowest).
