Hello!i have this bowel problem that makes me feel very anxious. what scares me is the fact that sometimes my bowels look thin and flat type 5 and sometimes i also noticed mucus in it, no blood, no weight loss, no bloating and 1-3 bowels a day?

Doctor can evaluate: Bowel symptoms, especially worrisome ones, should be evaluated by a primary care doctor and a G.I. Doctor. If the symptoms aren't explained by some simple, temporary illness, the doctors may need to look inside the colon to see what is going on. If a colonoscopy is needed, and it turns out to be normal, it is reassuring.

Any change: In bowel pattern or shape or consistency without an underlying explanation should be properly evaluated. If something is going on, the earlier the diagnosis the better for you.
