I felt like i had to have bowel movements. when i did it was just blood. i have colonoscopy scheduled on tuesday. i have a lot bloating and some pain. not a fissure. is tuesday too late?

No: Unless you have increasing pain, increased bleeding, vomiting, fever or inability to pass stool or gas. I hope you get this sorted out and you feel better soon.

Please DON'T wait!: Michael, you are bleeding from something that is as yet not diagnosed. This could be the beginning of a major bleed, which could be life threatening. Call the Gastroenterologist who scheduled the colonoscopy and he will probably send you to the ED. If you can't reach him/her, go in anyway. If you are weak or dizzy AT ALL, please call an ambulance.
