Connection between these 3 things- my son has athletically induced asthma / my mother thalasemia minor and my son recently diagnosed w/ protienuria?

None: Asthma is not related to any of these problems. Thalassemia may be hereditary but does not usually cause proteinuria. Thalassemia may cause thromboembolic problems which may in turn cause breathing problems but not usually athletically related.
