It can: Sedation can occur in about 9% of individuals when they first start taking cymbalta (duloxetine). While this resolves in most, it can be an ongoing complaint for some. Some people may find it helpful to take medication in the evening. If the sedation continues and is significant please discuss your concern with the prescribing physician.
