Yes: Dermal fillers (including restylane) are placed into the space just below the skin, and hence they work equally well on all shades of skin.

No problem: All fillers can be used on all skin types and work equally well regardless of your skin type. What is more important is choosing the right filler for your particular need and the right physician to place it correctly. Find an experienced plastic surgeon or dermatologist and check out their results beforehand. There are too many oversized lips and cheeks running around out there. Be well, dr. Fred.

Restylane (dermal fillers): In experienced hands, restylane (dermal fillers) can be quite effective- even in brown skin!. Be sure to have your face evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
