Achilles injury: The achilles tendon is the largest tendon we have in our legs. It helps us to walk, jump and climb. Without it, we would be bed ridden. Shaq o'neil recently ruptured his achilles and had emergency surgery to repair it in florida. There is a long rehab period and pt but athletes can return to sports if the achilles is properly repaired with mytek anchors that are inserted into the heel bone.
