Use nasal lubricant: Nose bleeding in winter is very common because humidity drops in the cold months. To counter this i recommend very liberal use of any of a number of nasal lubricants which can be bought overthe counter (ayr gel, rhinaris, ponaris, or even good old' vaseline or neosporin. The key is to apply it to the the septum ( the middle wall). Quite often throughout the day.

Ponaris oil: One of my favorite products is ponaris oil. It is an over the counter product made of medicinal plant oils that acts like "chap stick" for the nose reducing dryness and inflammation and bleeding. If your pharmacy doesn't stock it you can order it online.
