Metastatic = stage 4: I'm not sure from question "lobs"? But new, abnormal findings on ct after any cancer suggest metastatic, recurrent cancer and need evaluation.

See a doctor: Be supportive and make sure that she sees her oncologist for evaluation. I am not sure what you mean by "few hyperdense masses seen in lobs" or where these spots may be located (lungs, liver ?). The doctor that ordered the test will need to review with you what this may mean or the significance for your mother.
