From an imbalance: Perhaps you were given antibiotics at the time of the procedure? That may affect the normal 'flora' that live in the vagina-such that now yeast has been allowed to grow. The doc must have 'seen' yeast in order to tell you this information. Yeast infections can range from mild to severe. I would go back to the doc and ask more questions to help you get the answers you need. Good your case is mild.
