Arthrtitis: Exercise for arthritis is designed to keep the joint moving, but not to put toomuch stress on the joint. Stregtheningthe muscles around a joitn without joint irritation also will help stabilize the joint and reduce joint force especially in extrems of motion. So yes but not too much that it hurts.

Arthritis : Arthritis would be my first choice. It is inflammation but not always pain. But you can have swelling, and redness without pain. Caution just because it is redness and swelling doesn't mean it is arthritis. This could be seen in allergic reaction, soft tissue inflammation or cellulitis to name a few.

Pinched nerve: Pinched nerve at the wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome) is a common cause for such symptoms. However other causes of peripheral neuropathy should be considered and ruled out by history, physical exam and some blood tests. Diabetes, thyroid disease and some medications are common causes. I suggest you discuss with your pcp.

Can be other causes: Dizziness with exercise doesn't just happen with inadequate hydration. If a person is well hydrated, and still gets dizzy, her doctor can evaluate. Sometimes there are circulation problems, such as not enough blood flow to the brain under certain conditions or activities. There can be heart problems, or not enough red blood cells (anemia), etc...
