Yes: Low grade fever can be observed in active rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile polyarthritis, arthritis with sle and reactive arthritis. Significant fever can be observed with acute gout and pseudogout. Viral syndromes associated with joint pain are another cause. Any acute inflammatory condition associated with joint inflammation may demonstrate low grade fever.

Depends : That would depend on what type of "arthritis" you mean. In degenerative arthritis, you would not have fever. In immune-related arthritis, like rheumatoid arthritis or gout, you can have fever but it's not due to the pain but due to an activated immune system.
