Are crutches needed after sesamoid surgery and for how long? at this point, having yet to schedule my surgery, i'm in a boot.

Surgeon can explain: The surgeon can explain what happens after the surgery. The patient will likely have crutches so he an avoid putting weight on the affected foot for a few days until the surgeon has had a chance to check the foot, and decide if it is ok to start weight-bearing again.
