Nonteratogenic effects in the newborn following ssri exposure late in the third trimester include respiratory distress, cyanosis, apnea, seizures, temperature instability, feeding difficulty, vomiting, hypoglycemia, hypo- or hypertonia, hyper-reflexia, jitteriness. Acog recommends tapering off ssris if possible - talk to your psych.
