Not necessarily: This is a conversation to have between you, your psychiatrist, and your ob-gyn doctor. All of you have important contributions to make. They can advise you about options & risks in dealing with your depression & anxiety, plus wanting to get pregnant. Some non-pharmaceutical ways to deal with these problems include psychotherapy. Please talk with your doctors; don't try to decide this alone.

Information!: I agree with dr. Pappas that you should discuss this with your docs. Also please go here for more info: http://www.Womensmentalhealth.Org/; providing information and treating women such as yourself is what they do full time. Most psychiatrists treat 1 or 2 pregnant women at any one time, if that. Being well informed removes a lot of unnecessary worry. Depression should not preclude your desire!
