A member asked:

In eeg report sleep unsucessful means what?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Didn't sleep: Sleep unsuccessful just means you didn't go to sleep during the test, so what happens in sleep on the eeg isn't a part of the results. Some problems are more likely to arise in sleep so sometimes the doctor will arrange for you to stay up in order to fall asleep during the eeg.
