A member asked:

Can you please give me more information on what a left ventricular fascicilar block entails. showed up on ekg and dr. is down playing it. thanks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Electrical: Normal conduction through the heart arises in the right atrium and proceeds into the 2 ventricles, one pathway to the r ventricle and 2 pathways to the l: the anterior and posterior fascicles. Left anterior fascicular block causes no symptoms and requires no treatment but is sometimes associated with hypertension and coronary artery disease. Less commonly valvular disease.
