A member asked:

How much time we should not prepare food for others after typhoid fever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on: How you were treated and whether your stools were checked after therapy for persistent carriage. Many patients recovered from typhoid have persistent organisms, often from the gall bladder, into the stools. If this is the case, then you should probably not be in the food preparation industry. However, careful washing of hands, attempts to determine and if necessary, eliminate carriage may work.
