Thinning bones: Steroids can thin bones, raise your sugar and raise your blood pressure. I would avoid systemic steroids in psoriaisis.

Bad choice.: Steroids taken for long periods always have side effects. Also, they will invariable flare psoriasis upon withdrawal. There are many remitting agents, including sulfasalazine, methotreate, and tnf-alpha inhibitors.
