TNF inhibitor: You may benefit from a tumor necrosis factor (tnf) inhibitor. This class of biologic medications can be very helpful for psoriatic arthritis. Talk to your rheumatologist and see if right for you.

Psoriatic arthritis: Psoriatic arthritis unresponsive to 7 months of mtx treatment needs further evaluation for additional medications . Aggressive treatment option should include extent of arthritis, severity, duration, findings on exam , x-rays , lab , dose of current mtx, prior medications tried etc . TNF agents: Tnf agents such as enbrel, Humira or Remicade (infliximab) are indicated if Methotrexate is not sufficient. The tnf agents almost always provide good benefit.
