Do not play games: Gaba and 5htp are transmitters of the brain that are said to be involved in epilepsy. Some medications are thought to alter GABA and 5htp but we do not know whether that is what helps with seizures. Any treatment must be monitored carefully for benefit versus side effects. Each patient is unique and must have a trial of medication to see what helps under the supervision of a good doctor.
