Supplements: Passion Flower, Lemon Balm, Humulus lupulus (Hops) Valerian & Chamomile may help Anxiety. Although Kava Kava may help it has potential to cause liver damage. Lavender & chamomile essential oils (not ingested) are also calming. Depression may benefit from Omega 3 Fatty Acids, SAM-e & 5- HTP. If there are specific deficencies then Folic Acid, Vitamin B6 & Magnesium supplementation may help. GABA>

Possibly: It will depend on what kind, degree of depression/anxiety you are having. If it is affecting your function and is getting worse, and not related to an obvious stressor you may want to consult your Doctor or other mental Health provider for help with an assessment. Many times supplements are not regulated and you cannot be sure what are you getting. There are other ways like relaxation techniques,
