A member asked:

Is it safe to fly with a 2mm kidney stone lodged in the lower pole calyx of the right kidney?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Renal stones: Small renal stones in lower pole calyces are less likely to spontaneously pass into the ureter. If it did, you would likely pass it. Generally safe to travel. If you were to be the solo pilot of a plane, i would have some concerns due to the severity of ureteral colic (despite the low probability).
