Possibly: A person with head lice may have no symptoms. The most common symptom is itching. There may be a crawling or movement sensation on the scalp. A person may develop sores from scratching. Scratching can be significant enough to prevent good sleep. Nits are louse eggs. Nits can be white, yellow, tan to gray depending on if the nit has hatched, if it is dead or what stage of development it is in.
