An old style Rx: Since your scalp may absorb an excessive amount of what amounts to bug spray in most treatments, an old remedy may help. Some find a stout vinegar: apple cider or pickling vinegar, used as a wash/rinse will sometimes kill the bugs and loosen the egg casings for easier removal. It can be repeated several days in a row.If no help, a topical or oral med may be needed.
