How effective can laser therapy be for drug addiction?

Laser therapy: I'm assuming you mean laser therapy as a form of acupuncture? It has been used with several kinds of addictions, but the research available doesn't document the results well. This doesn't mean it's ineffective, just that more studies are needed.
